Surveillance Secure Delaware Valley recently assisted Colonnade Historic Condo Association, based in Philadelphia, PA, with updating their surveillance and access control systems. Initially, the condo association was only looking for a new access control system, as their previous provider was unresponsive to their needs.
The customer wanted new access control devices in numerous doors in their facility, including their front door, on which they wanted to also install a brand-new telephone entry system. They also wanted to install new maglocks on their side gate entrances, which tenants use as their most frequent means to enter and exit the building. The gates were being installed immediately prior to the installation of the new maglocks by the Surveillance Secure team, and so the team worked with the gate manufacturer to design a suitable system.
To augment their existing surveillance system, the condo association wanted to add new cameras. Their existing system is analog and internet protocol (IP) based. Initially, the customer wanted to use two video recorders, keeping one of their old ones while Surveillance Secure installed a new one to manage the updated cameras.
However, after the initial installation, the condo association was so happy with the team’s work that they asked them to replace their entire system with a new hybrid video recorder. They also requested that the team come back and renovate their existing IT room, which they wanted to move to a more secluded area of the building in the basement.
Overall the client was very happy with the hard work of the Surveillance Secure Delaware Valley team and now has an updated surveillance and access control system as well as a new secure IT area to meet their security needs.
The client also recently had Surveillance Secure Delaware Valley back to their site after the initial job to install two new cameras on the exterior of their building to provide additional security to their tenants. The cameras were installed a week later to meet the clients’ schedule. The client also needed four of their old cameras replaced, and the Surveillance Secure team was able to have the new cameras installed within five days of the old ones going out.
